Azhar Ali 302*, 4th Pakistani to Score Triple Century

Azhar Ali has scored his first triple century and become the 4th Pakistani batsman after Hanif Mohammad, Inzamam Ul Haq and Younis Khan. He was to break the record of highest inning from any Pakistani batsman but opted out to declare while he was on 302.

Azhar Ali after mediocre performance in ODIs against W.I shows his temperament against pink ball and first time day night test. Against a less challenging bowling of W.I both openers scored heavily although much slower than they should.

Last time a Pakistani batsman pass 300 mark was Inzamam against New Zealand around a decade before. Pakistan declare at 579 for the loss of 3 wickets. This is the second test internationally and first test in Asia that is being played with pink ball and day night matches.

The crowd was not much and in evening there were people coming but ODI or T20 crowd was not seen here anymore.
