Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) director General Major General Asif Ghafoor held a press conference on Sunday clarified that Army has no connection with Panama case or JIT. Army did not influenced at any point of Panama Case.
Pakistan Army has launched a new operation Khyber Agency (Operation Khyber IV) in Rajgal Valley. He said that its a difficult terrain area mostly consist of mountains across Pakistan Afghanistan borders and army’s aim to destroy any hideouts of terrorists there. The valley is a fresh spot for militant groups and we will not allow them to establish there.
A full division will take part in the operation and will implement Government of Pakistan authority over those areas. Major Asif Ghafoor also explained other operations that had been done inside big cities of Pakistan on intelligence basis for Operation Rad ul Fassad.
The army spokesperson spoke on line of control situation that India is continuously violating international laws and doing cross firigin on civilians while Pakistan army can not do that because of Kashmiries on the other side of line of control however strong response is given always.
In response to a question about Daesh he said that there is no formal base of Daesh in Pakistan and small militant groups are just using that name. He said that intelligence agencies has close eye on such events and will not tolerate any foreign group to establish here.
ISPR director also gave details about military courts saying approximately 40 cases are under process and all cases are on fast track and will be decided soon. He also urged that there is no question over Kulbhushan Yadav and his death sentence would be implemented soon.
He also said that Army will protect Pakistan interest whether security or economic progress. Army will secure Pak China economic corridor at any price.
At the final note of press conference he conveyed a message from Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa that Army is building peace in the country and stabilizing the region and every citizen in any caliber should do the same to strengthen the country. He also said that Army is ready to cope with any disaster situation such as recent floods.
