Ishrat ul ebad Replaced After 14 Years

After serving as Sindh governor for long 14 years, Ishrat ul ebad finally replaced. Government has appointed retired chief justice Saeed Uzaman Sidique. Ishrat Ul Ibad was appointed governor of Sindh in 2002 by the then President General Parvez Musharraf. Although Governor’s post was most of a display show as having not much part in actual politics or influence yet Ishrat ul ebad hold the position for so long.

It is most likely that he is replaced because of recent incidents about MQM.Ishrat ul ebad has started his political career in his student age and joined All Pakistan Mohajir Student Organization. He won the election in 1990 and became the provincial minister of Sindh.

He left Pakistan in 1992 after operation against MQM. He got political asylum in United Kingdom. He was the youngest governor in 2002.

Saeed Uzaman Sidique was chief justice of Pakistan under Nawaz government and he also participated in elections.
