The fate of Lahore Qalandar did not change yet as they had are the first team to get 2 defeats in their pre matches. Last season they relied on Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo but both did not clicked and Qalandar were at the bottom of the points table.
This season they had made lots of changes having acquire the services of Brendon McCullum who is the captain, Jason Roy, Grand Elliot, Sunil Narine as well as few other players from current Pakistani squad yet they seem to be very weak team.
Their bowling might be of more worry as it has not much experience apart from Irfan and Yasir Shah. The lapse of experience after openers is another thing. Umar Akmal is not batting well and carrying his poor form which is hurting them lot.
Yesterday they were bowled out of 59 runs in 10 overs. None of the batsman apart from Fakhar Zaman tried to stay on crease and bat full 20 overs at least as pitch was tricky for batting so even 100 to 110 was a competitive score. They did bowled well and held Peshawar Zalmi to take 17 overs to score 59 runs but they were on losing side again.
There is a 2 day gap and next match is on Feb 15th between Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiator.
