Pakistan Beat World XI by 20 Runs

Pakistan Beat World XI  by 20 runs in first T20 match of independence cup. The World XI captain Faf Du Plessis won the toss and elected to bowl first on a perfect batting track. On the toss he said that his team will chase and will feel ease when due comes in to play. Pakistan captain on toss said that they will put a decent target on the board to defend.

Batting first Pakistan scored 197 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 2o overs. After losing Fakhar Zaman early Babar Azam played a blistering innings hitting 86 from 52 balls while at the death overs Shoaib Malik hit 38 from 20 balls.

In reply World XI managed to score 177 runs. After great start the loss of wickets at regular intervals dent the chase of World XI.
