PSL Final in Lahore, Overseas Players Withdraws

After much speculations PCB has announced that PSL final would be in Lahore no matter if foreign players participate or not. The qualifying team’s foreign players have mostly shown no interest to come to Pakistan to play the final. Kevin Peterson, Nathan Mccullum and Luke Wright already announced they will not be available.

FICA (Federation of International Cricket Association) already warned the players not to go to Pakistan due to security issues. The recent bomb blast has added more tension to the situation and weaken the PCB’s effort to bring in international crickets to Pakistan.

On the other site Pakistan spectators are really excited and tickets were sold so quickly that banks are having large people in line to buy tickets. According to PCB’ head Najam Sethi 10,000 tickets of 500PKR are available and most of them are already booked.

The security in and around of Gaddafi Stadium has been very tight and strict security measures are been taken to ensure maximum safety of spectators. Gaddafi Stadium has capacity of 25000 people and full crowd is expected.
